Jennifer & Charles Nobel 10.29.07

I had a busy weekend! I drove up to Black Mountain, North Carolina on Sunday for Jenn and Chuck's gorgeous Monday wedding. They put me up in a great little cabin on the property of Lake Eden which is where the wedding was. Sunday night they had a laid back rehearsal BBQ in the barn and then made smores by a bonfire for the rest of the night! The weather got down to the 30s at night and mid 50s during the day but we stayed warm running all over taking pictures! The scenery was amazing and made my job incredibly easy, as you can tell!

It was great getting to work with you guys! Have a safe trip back to Ft. Lauderdale and enjoy a little sneak preview!

How cool is this pumpkin?! I thought it was real at first but it's not so they can enjoy it forever!

Jackie & Scott Heiser 10.27.07

Here are some of my favorites from the wonderful wedding of Jackie and Scott last Saturday! These are two good friends of my sister and me so it was awesome getting to photograph this important day for them. Jackie even said I made her feel like a "rock star"! That's when I know I'm doing my job...I think she looks like a rock star in the pictures below, you'd never know her poor hairdresser got into a wreck on the way and never made it to do her hair. Despite that and a rained in ceremony, it didn't seem to dampen their spirits. They wrote their own vows which had me tearing up (both Scott's sister sobbed through the whole thing), and yet another super sweet mother/son dance.

Have fun in Mexico guys! See you when you get home!

See what I mean? The sweetest thing EVER!

This is what Scott looked like after Jackie got through feeding cake to him...

Rebecca & Josh 10.13.2007

October has been busy! This was a wedding that was very close to my heart - Rebecca has been a close family friend for as long as I can remember, and my sister was a bridesmaid who flew in for the wedding. You've seen her bridal and engagement pictures in the last few months, so it was so exciting for their wedding to finally arrive! We had so much fun and took waaaaay too many pictures...I'm still sifting through them all. Their ceremony was at First Baptist Church downtown, and then I spent my second weekend at the lovely Hidden Hills Country Club!

Rebecca and Josh are possibly the sweetest couple I've ever had the chance to photograph, and I hope you guys are having a blast in San Francisco! See you when you get home! Enjoy your sneak preview...

Just a quick pic of me and the happy couple! :)

Francesca & Luis 10.6.07

Despite the rain, we had a blast at Hidden Hills Country Club! There were so many sweet moments during the day and they were just the sweetest couple to photograph. Luis' dance with his mother was probably my favorite-I love the picture below where she's wiping the tears from his eyes! Hope you guys had an amazing honeymoon!

Back by popular demand...

It was actually my popular demand that needed some more photographs of Lolley! Ryan just bought me Canon's brand new camera (40D) and I needed a worthy subject to play around with. Lolley fit the bill! I think I could photograph her every week and not get bored.

I also need everyone's help deciding on your favorite border! These are something new I've been playing around with and can't decide which one I like best. I'm in the beginning phases of working with a web designer for a new site (long overdue) and I'd like to incorporate a fun border onto the site. So let me know which one it should be!

Lolley liked my new camera too...she wanted a turn!
